Participation in the course is available on a day trip or overnight stay. If you choose to stay overnight, we will arrange your transportation during the course.

PAS Drone School Osaka is a JUIDA certified drone school. Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA) was the first organization in Japan to issue drone pilot licenses and is “the governing body for unmanned aircraft training” according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. JUIDA is also actively involved in international standardization and regional development activities and is strengthening its ties with overseas organizations.

You can take the course as a day trip or stay overnight. We welcome your visit to Kansai from all over Japan. You can stay at a long-established hot spring hotel with a popular open-air bath and enjoy flying a drone in comfort.

Unmanned Aircraft Operation Skills Course
Training of engineers with basic knowledge of UAS overview, laws and rules, natural science, technology, and operation, and with piloting skills (practical experience) for safe flight of unmanned aircraft,
Safe Operation Manager Training Course
Safety management and operational system for flight operations with sufficient safety and legal knowledge of unmanned aircraft operations. Training of safe flight operations managers to engage in risk assessment.

The course consists of at least 6 hours of classroom lectures, 10 hours of practical training, and 17 hours of examinations and other explanations.
The start and end times of the course may vary depending on the Q&A session, operating conditions at the practical training site, and the skill level of trainees.
Helmets (available for rent) and safety glasses (glasses and sunglasses are acceptable substitutes) must be worn during the practical training to ensure safety.

Course Qualifications
Age: 16 years old and up (however, those under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian’s written consent)
Visual acuity: 0.7 or better in both eyes and 0.3 or better in one eye (correctable)
Hearing: Ability to listen to daily conversation.
Conversation: Ability to hold a simple conversation in Japanese.
Color: Must be able to distinguish red, blue, and yellow
Gender: Any gender is acceptable
Other: No physical disabilities that would interfere with drone operation.
